Glossop SNT - School Inputs on 'Shattered - Knives Shatter Lives'' and ‘County Lines’
PCSO Buller Glossop YET had been invited to attend Glossopdale School & Sixth Form, Newshaw Lane, Hadfield this morning , Tuesday 18th November to complete classroom inpits with some Year 9 Students on ‘County Lines’ and 'Shattered - Knives Shatter Lives'' part of 🔪Operation Sceptre Week 🔪.
We first dsicussed County Lines: ▪️ What does County Lines Mean? ▪️ Spotting the signs - helping a friend ▪️ Consequences and the law ▪️ How to report and get help from support services.
Then we discussed in relation to 🔪Operation Sceptre Week 🔪. 'Shattered - Knives Shatter Lives'' ▪️ What do we mean when we say knife crime? ▪️ Excuses given for carrying a knife ▪️ Getting to the point ▪️ The Law & Consequences ▪️ Who does this affect - what can you do? ▪️ How to report knife crime ▪️ Promoting Fearless.org ▪️ Support services /extra information
Operation Sceptre is a national, multi-agency campaign in the UK that focuses on tackling knife and weapon-enabled crime through intensified police action and community engagement
PCSO Buller would like to thsnk all of those students who engaged with the team today during the inputs. Also our appreciation to the Year manager Miss Wilde for arraning this, as well as to the headteacher for allowing this type of engagement to take place.
